One thing I notice is that the tabs are not easy to see...until you highlight them.
That could make it difficult for people who are new to this.

On the Organizations/Members...I think you want it to go to a page with link to individual members ....and a list of orgs?
Added a text box with NYWA blurb...and changed settings on what gets posted in left column. Let's keep new member sign-up, postings, not all new items, though.
