My report from the NYWA Annual Meeting 2009

As with many of you 2009 was a challenging year for NYWA. But through a great deal of hard work we and our Coalition members have come through energized and excited. We are all a work in progress always striving always questioning and always connected to the possibilities. More than 60 nonprofit Furniture Banks nationwide will pick up your furniture donation for free and pass it along to families who desperately need it, including mothers and children escaping domestic violence and working families living below the poverty line.
